1974
  • Japan Clinic Co., Ltd. commences operations with the sale of “Kaki” Tablets.
  • Establishment of the Sendai Regional Sales Office.
1976
  • Establishment of the Hiroshima and Sapporo Regional Sales Offices.
1978
  • Establishment of the Food and Nutrition Counseling Office, offering after-sales services to our consumers.
  • Signing of a business partnership with Mitsubishi Shokuhin Co., Ltd. (a subsidiary of Mitsubishi Corporation), resulting in the distribution of “Kaki” Tablets to pharmacies across Japan.
1979
  • Signing of a business partnership with Sumitomo Corporation, resulting in the distribution of “Sea Milk” Tablets to pharmacies across Japan.
1981
  • Completion of the Japan Clinic Head Office Building in Kyoto City.
  • Establishment of the Tokyo Regional Sales Office.
1983
1984
  • Construction of the Miyazu Factory complete.
  • Foundation of the Japan Trace Nutrients Research Society, setting in motion a long history of joint studies with Universities in Japan, France, and the USA.
1985
  • Successful isolation of Z-Substance from Oyster Extract, leading to the development of “Balanceter–Z”, an improved formula fortified with Z-Substance.
  • Establishment of the Fukuoka Regional Sales Office.
1986
  • Signing of a business partnership with the Japanese Liquor Merchants Cooperative Association, resulting in the distribution of Oyster Extract products liquor stores across Japan.
1991
  • Establishment of the Nagoya Regional Sales Office.
1993
  • Establishment of the Kansai Regional Sales Office.

  • Japan Clinic’s 20th Anniversary Ceremony held at Kyoto International Conference Center.
  • Establishment of the JCOE Research Society organized by pharmacies from across Japan.

  • Hosts the first Annual JCOE Regional Administrator’s Assembly at the Miyako Hotel in Kyoto City.
2001
  • Commences sale of the “Balanceter-WZ” Tablets. An Oyster Extract Tablet fortified with the FC-Substance.
2002
  • “Balanceter–WZ” awarded the Lifestyle Reformation Award at the 2002 14th Topics Award sponsored by Drug Magazine Co., Ltd. and Yachiyo-Kai.
  • Registration of the “Kaki-Niku Man” mascot character as Japan Clinic’s Trademark.
  • Commences sale of the renewal formula version “Kaki 750 Drink” fortified with FC-Substance.
  • Successful isolation of FC-Substance from Oyster Extract, leading to the obtainment of patents pertaining to the substance and its production method. (Patent Number: 3267962 Japan)

  • Signing of a trade agreement with a Hong Kong based company.
